SUMMARY:The Queen's Platinum Jubilee  Picnic & Live Music Oxborough  Village Green
DESCRIPTION:All villagers are invited to come along\, bring your own blankets and picnics to enjoy as a community gathered to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. There will (hopefully) be an ice-cream van\, and we will have home-made tray bakes\, decorated with a Jubilee theme\, which will have been made by a number of willing Oxborough Coffee Morning bakers and donated for everyone to enjoy. There will be live music \, a local jazz band\, playing old time favourites such as Summertime\,  suitable for younger children and older folks alike. There will be a competition\, where the  children will be asked to make a Royal Crown for wearing on the day\, incorporating recycled household items\, to promote sustainability\, with every child receiving a prize of a biodegradable helium balloon. \nEVERYONE IS WELCOME!
