All villagers are invited to come along, bring your own blankets and picnics to enjoy as a community gathered to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. There will (hopefully) be an ice-cream van, and we will have home-made tray bakes, decorated with a Jubilee theme, which will have been made by a number of willing Oxborough Coffee Morning bakers and donated for everyone to enjoy. There will be live music , a local jazz band, playing old time favourites such as Summertime,  suitable for younger children and older folks alike. There will be a competition, where the  children will be asked to make a Royal Crown for wearing on the day, incorporating recycled household items, to promote sustainability, with every child receiving a prize of a biodegradable helium balloon.
