Oxborough Village Hall AGM 19th May 2022 Treasurer’s Report on 2021 Accounts

1. The accounts for 2021 are attached. These relate to the period 1st January to 31st December 2021. Accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis.

2. Income The total income for the year was £24,480.76. The income included 2 grants received. A Government COVID Grant of £15,973.14 and a grant of £2,223 from the Lottery to establish internet at the Village Hall. Activities commenced in May but didn’t get fully started until July/August. Details of the hirers total income of £1,397 are shown under Note 1 (Page 3). CafeOx was fully operating from Wednesday 19th May producing net income of £1,118.06. The Quiz continued to be very successful with net income of £752.94. Open Gardens proceeds were shared with St Johns Church and produced net income of £676.29 for the Village Hall. A new source of income from the Breckland lottery produced £445.50.
3. Expenditure The total expenditure for the year was £27,052.24. Premises costs remained at a similar level to 2020. The main item of expenditure was the Ramp, Patio and Garden Furniture costing £13,951.78. A grant from FCC Environment of

£10,036.02 towards the works had been approved but was not received until the following year.The cost on WiFi in 2021 was £1,587.44. Details of other Equipment and Improvements totalling £6,195.25 are shown under Note 2 (Page 3).

5. Balance Sheet The General Fund balance is £3,474.12 with Restricted items of £810.16 and reserves of £4,000. This gives a Current Assets total of £8,284.28 as at 31st December 2021 represented by Bank Accounts and Cash.
